Anki is a spaced repetition software that allows you to create a deck of learning cards. Sadly, it does not have an export function. a2pdf exports your cards to PDF so you can easily print physical paper cards by using Adobe Reader or a similar PDF viewer.
FHNav is the most popular Android app for our university sitting at 1000-5000 installations from the Google Play Store with a rating of 4.4 stars plus a few hundred direct installations. It was developed by fellow students. In 2013 I added automatic notifications for news items from our university website among other features.
MOJI is a native Java client for MOSS, a source code plagiarism detection service by Stanford University. It can be easily integrated into existing Java based e-learning platforms. Used in MultiPlag.
A straight-forward grade calculation tool for all C.S. Master programs at my university. I developed it to evaluate Backbone.js and because we never given a way to calculate grades that did not involve Microsoft Excel. Works without an internet connection and uses HTML5 Web Storage for persistence.
MultiPlag is a plagiarism detection software that I developed while writing my Bachelor thesis about source code plagiarism. It checks the code of students for signs of plagiarism or collusion in a programming assignment. You can choose up to 3 detection clients, namely JPlag (by KIT), MOSS (by Stanford University) and my own implementation on top of CPD.
